Battlefield: Bad Company 2's campaign is good without ever being particularly outstanding. It's a first-person shooter in which you're guided through a host of particularly lucious locales while
It's just full of epic moments from beginning to the end. True statement. It needs a remaster imo. Both! I'd argue BC1 had the best story, but BC2 had the best gameplay (until BF4's post-patch state). BC2's story was just a generic "save the world" story with some humor laced into the dialogue.
BC2 maps were tightly packed and vehicles weren't emphasized nearly as much. End result being the game was much more friendly to infantry players looking for instant action. IMO, BF3 and BF4 are superior Battlefield games, BC2 was a good spinoff in its own right. Sniping was so freaking fun and rewarding in BC2.

In Closing: Battlefield Bad Company 2 was a lot closer to the sweet spot in 'encounter duration vs player ability' and differentiated itself from the competition. Battlefield 3 while advancing graphics steps further from that sweet spot while attempting to play like its competition.
