Mirage is your best bet. Hizen as a video outlining the open world PVE "best classes". Mechanist, Mirage and Scourge are at the top. They tend to have simple to no required rotations, as opposed to other classes that require extreme piano player keyboard skills in order to pull of the complex rotations involved.
The Silverwastes is a pretty good gold farming map, if you like roaming around, doing events and enjoy generally relaxed content. You can usually find a group that is farming Silverwastes in the LFG -> Central Tyria -> Squads, and is usually called RIBA (Red, Indigo, Blue, Amber, the name/colours of the keeps in the map). Balance needs to be brought to this story for the different builds to make it less of a problem if you plan to solo it. I tried and died and gave up. I have no idea why the hit boxes of the mobs are so high, nor why the instance is not balanced around the spec of the player better.

Was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on best class for solo play. Yes I'm aware every class can play through the game solo but I'm talking solo champ/legendaries. I dont like having to wait on a group to complete something sometimes there just arent alot of people doing that specific event.

Second best solo class might be monk or ele depending on the area. E/Mes use earth magic to tank damage and kill, monks use superior(-75 HP) runes to get their health low and use Protective Spirit, Shielding Hands, Shield of Absorption and regen skills to be damn near unkillable(as long as you don't get rended interrupted or hit with lifesteal).
